The Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed advocates/clerks/litigants not to use saliva for affixing Court fee stamps on applications/petitions being filed in the registry in order to curtail the spread of Covid-19.
An order to this effect has been issued by the registry of the High Court on the instructions of the Chief Justice Ravi Shanker Jha.
Earlier, District & Sessions Judge Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi had directed Lawyers/Munshis/Litigants etc., not to use 'saliva' while affixing court fee stamps on applications/petitions and envelopes. The officials were also directed not to use 'saliva' while paginating files.
