Cultivated as upbeat
Can easily be unsettled
By a well-aimed tweet
And if that tweet arrow
Hits someone in power
Things can soon turn
Really nasty and sour
Their acolytes would file
All manner of cases
And media make famous
Hitherto unknown faces
Enforcers would lock up
Re-tweeters with tweeter
Whose barb was pungent
Taking revenge that’s sweeter
The system will then resist
Any attempt to secure bail
Thus advertising to others
The real prospects of jail
Even when the battle
Does shift to some court
It’ll be an uphill task
With hardly any support
Freedom of expression
Is a very good thought
Imprisoned by restrictions
Reasonable or not
So think before tweeting
And look before leaping
This is a free country
