A king for four days
Is no doubt still a king
(Not to speak of many
Benefits this may bring)
If the planning is better
There can be longer reign
(But that is only possible
If there is respect not disdain)
They also shall serve
Who just sat and dozed
(As it was vacation time
And the court was closed)
This is a great country
And all is surely well
(Where else can one merge
Welcome and farewell?)
Proposals of collegiums
Are made to gather dust
(Is there a quid pro quo?
Or simply a lack of trust?)
Finally a file gets cleared
Appointee can hardly serve
(He retires in four days
Is this what we all deserve?)
