We have our own scriptures
Why do we need old laws
Imposed by foreign rulers
Full of technicalities and flaws?

It takes courage to change
What's been around for long
World Teachers can attempt it
As they can do no wrong

Our Criminal Major Acts
Are set to be circumcised
So announced the powers when
The legislature was apprised

Many who haven't read the Bills
Are busy in endless debate
If there is a brute majority
We can already guess their fate

All that is imported must go
If with our culture it is at odds
Why depend on English Lords
When we have precedents of Gods?

So what's the big difference
Between old and new Codes?
Well, now we may deal with frogs
Where earlier we dealt with toads.
