Experts are shouting
There are several flaws
Do not rush to bring in
The new criminal laws
Two new legal “Sanhitas”
And one new “Adhiniyam”
Aim to make things easy
But will be troublesome
Those who imagined
Opposition was strong
And would stall these laws
Got their calculations wrong
The rulers want to go ahead
With whatever they decide
They quite enjoy brushing
Genuine apprehensions aside
Life for some “Bharatiyas”
Isn’t going to be the same
They better start practicing
Every tongue-twisting name
As historically we are
A very lethargic nation
Hopefully, there won’t be
Speedy implementation
Protesters are still asking:
‘Why rush this? Why?’
