As something fundamental!
We’d collected the money
Promising secrecy sublime
Our financers will be exposed
As if they’re guilty of a crime
But we shall do everything
To maintain the status quo
Never mind if some think
It’s a part of “quid pro quo”
The truth of the matter is
We collected and we’ve spent
What purpose will be served
By knowing where it all went?
We don’t grudge the milords
Their feel-good landmark ruling
