When just asked to bend
Some have loved to crawl
They read no book of law
Only the writing on the wall
Once upon a bygone time
They folded hands to greet
Now Big Lords prefer those
Who are diving at their feet
Still it is no longer enough
Simply to fix meals and wine
All aspirants need flexibility
Lots of latex in their spine
No law school teaches this
Must be imbibed from infancy
The best bet for progress
Is a degree in sycophancy
Shocked by what happens?
Appalled by what you saw?
All this is part of the future
