Yet loudspeakers blare
Insufferable and loud
The courts had ordered
Hoardings be removed
Those eyesores remain
Unperturbed, unmoved
Potholes disfigure roads
All footpaths encroached
There's hardly an issue
PILs haven't broached
Authorities do not obey
Furnish excuses lame
Resultantly complaints
Have remained the same
So why have the courts?
Why this judicial seesaw?
If all that we witness is
Just a shadow of the law?
Orders which are praised
Seldom are implemented
Culprits have the last laugh
And rule of law gets dented
