QUOTA looks like the key word
In all the talk shows now
The forward and the backward
Are shouting hoarse..and how!

After weeks of judicial time
In argument after argument
Five heads could not agree
So we have two who dissent

Despite 75 years of policies
There is no dearth of sobs
It's alright to provide quotas
But would those ensure jobs?

Merit doesn't really matter
As the meritorious go abroad
Now the quota is 60 percent
Soon more will get the nod

Some will cling to their castes
Some will cling to their poverty
To qualify for their quota seats
And enjoy freedom and liberty

Every seat will sport a label
Some grab that and some this
Those left standing will wonder
"What did we do to deserve this?
