At last Big Boss is mollified
An errant walker disqualified
Who hoped to 'join the nation'
Which had courtiers horrified!

In his speeches, cryptic and brief,
Once said Big Boss was a thief!
The well-oiled machinery then
Wanted 'walkie-talkie' in grief!

Still, we, the people, are free
To hear glories of our country
On 'heart-talks' of a Boss who is
At liberty to add insult to injury

We're governed by laws, not men
At least every now and then,
This too shall pass, we hope
Provided we survive… Amen!
