To transfer Chiefs have come
It's like shuffling a pack of cards
Or a merry-go-round for some
Milords shifted all over the place
Seem to be on a "Bharat Darshan"!
Some are dislocated frequently
For reasons never really apparent
The moment they grow too senior
They separate from their HC parent
What is the logic of such a policy?
Has never been made transparent
High Courts get imported Chiefs
Bar has no enthusiasm or elation
They're often too old to be proactive
Or focused mainly on their elevation
Arrears meanwhile break all records
(Doesn't mean we aren't a great Nation!)
