WITH an independent judiciary
We have nothing to fear
They are aware of everything
Know if or when to interfere
But the hard-working milords
Are rightly irked by irritation
If daily urgent applications
Impede a deserved vacation
Why is it that some legal eagles
Think they are always welcome?
Can they not comprehend
What is "subject to the outcome"?
Let all the politicians conspire
And their supporters dance away
We shall consider every aspect
After we've enjoyed our holiday
People can never understand
How delays can be delicious
By the time we take them up
Most matters are infructuous!
Thus we save for the Nation
Very precious judicial time
For workaholic milords like us
Justice is a mission sublime!
