Do scriptures prescribe
Cacophony, noise
Disturbing
Neighbourhood’s poise?
I have come across
Absolutely none
But noise is now
Considered “good fun”
Never mind they are
Harmful for health
Decibels announce
Organisers’ wealth
The Almighty must find
It strange or odd
To witness what goes on
In the name of God!
Objections can lead
To arguments, violence
We have forgotten
To seek God in silence.
