“False, fabricated and baseless”, says Supreme Court Employees Association of sexual harassment complaint against CJI

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]HE Supreme Court Employees Welfare Association (SCEWA) has passed a resolution condemning the sexual harassment allegation against CJI Rajan Gogoi, raised by a former Supreme Court employee.

Calling the allegation "false, fabricated and baseless", the SCEWA said, "such unscrupulous allegations are aimed at maligning the institution".

The SCEWA in its resolution said they "stand firmly with the Hon'ble Chief Justice of India to defeat the malicious attempt of external forces to target the Indian Judiciary".
