The Collegium has recommended appointment of five Chief Justices in the High Courts of Madras, Madhya Pradesh, Patna, Meghalaya, and Jharkhand.
The association has stressed on attaching territorial jurisdiction of Kanpur, Bareilly and Moradabad revenue divisions with the Lucknow bench of Allahabad High Court.
The court has now listed the matter to October 21 for further hearing and directed High Court Bar Association to submit reply by the next date of hearing.
