Nine students from underprivileged backgrounds win seats in National Law Universities

[dropcap]I[/dropcap]N a major victory towards inclusivity, nine scholars from underprivileged backgrounds have secured seats at reputed National Law Universities. The scholars, who come from marginalized families, were trained by Increasing Diversity by Increasing Access (IDIA).

Out of these nine scholars, three are visually impaired. All nine scholars received admission offers in the first allotment list.

The IDIA project was initiated to reach out to marginalised and under-represented students, to sensitize them to law and give them access to quality legal education.
