And the purpose of these games is to declare the Umpire Out!Very interesting!And a novel break from monotony.
The best part of these games is that retired players (and even retired umpires) can play..All that one needs is a lot of mud..and of course,the ability to sling it far and wide.
No one really gives a thought to the condition of the National pitch after all these games have been played.
Citizens,like spectators,can only watch..(the cynical ones may even clap out of boredom)
